M J Mapp is one of the UK’s specialist commercial property and asset management service providers. As part of a larger project to develop, integrate and streamline its current systems, the company identified a need to refine and document its core business processes.
M J Mapp hired Remit Consulting LLP to carry out the project, which resulted in a number of unexpected additional benefits.
The Portman Estate owns and manages a 110 acre estate of commercial and residential properties in London’s West End.
Last year, the organisation decided to take a more strategic approach to its IT support services, and asked Remit Consulting to analyse its requirements and help it select a new IT support provider.

Qube Global Software launched this case study, which provides an in-depth review of the project to implement Horizon v.10 Rent and Service Charge modules in Hammerson. Remit’s role was to confirm the suitability of the product and to develop the business process specification. We acted as Programme Manager during the design stage and Technical Project Manager during implementation to bring in the project to time and budget.
