Welcome back from the summer holidays. and hopefully your inbox is manageable - to date, the worst we've heard of is 350 waiting messages. After dealing with your inbox, many of you will be looking forward to the next few months to catch up on what the industry is doing - the conference season starts here.
We are involved in several events and over the next few months we will be tackling subjects as diverse as Performance Measurement, setting up an IT team and outsourcing.

Communities - You may have heard us talk about "communities" in the past as one of the areas which information systems support. Following the success of Friends Reunited, the website which puts old school friends back in touch, communities are enjoying a new lease of life. There are several sites such as linkedin.com and ecademy.com which provide members with links and resources.
Many companies use Communities as a valuable free tool to keep clients, tenants and investors up to date. You are part of our community and we hope that you continue to find the information in our newsletter and on the website of value.

Occupier Symposium - Henry Stewart Conference Studies' 3rd annual one-day briefing on the 'Art of Performance Measurement in Real Estate Usage' will provide a practical guide to implementing performance measurement across your property portfolio. Remit Consulting will deliver a presentation on the role of the property management database and analytical software.
The briefing will be held on Wednesday 29 September at the Radisson SAS Portman Hotel in London W1 and is held in conjunction with briefings on 'Maximising the Contribution of CRE to Shareholder Value' and 'The Latest Thinking in CRE and Property Management Strategies'.
