PCS-Expo - Learn, network and win an Apple iPod mini

The PCS-Expo this year is covering all the topics of importance to people in property.... It's no longer just computing and it is free to attend.

PCS-Expo allows you catch up on all those subjects which will keep your business ahead this coming year.

Highlights are the Keynote sessions:

* Outsourcing in the property industry. Martin Farncombe will discuss the future for companies and the need for effective outsourcing arrangements. Martin is co-author of Atomic which discusses how giant corporations will give way to small agile companies in the next few years.
Panellists in this discussion will be from Lafarge, The Metropolitan Police, Herts County Council, and Charles Wells and they will discuss their own war stories about outsourcing to property service providers.

* Urban Regeneration. Robert Syms MP will describe the Conservatives' approach, and the panel from London Borough of Newham, the London Development Agency, Quintain, and Gerald Eve will debate achievements and issues under a Labour Government, the Olympic bid, and the Conservative Party proposals.

* Mobile working. Professor Ian Angell of the LSE will give an entertaining speech about how macro economics will affect organisations' need to be mobile and Microsoft will present their view of a mobile future.

* Declan Curry, BBC Business Breakfast. The Tuesday Keynote Sessions will be moderated by Declan Curry, bringing a general business perspective to the discussions.

In addition, a range of seminars in parallel will cover topics ranging from Property Tax Planning to Negotiation Skills, via a demonstration of Blackberrys (mobile e-mail devices to you and me) and tips on the Rating Revaluation.

...And our contribution? Mark Jones of Remit Consulting will discuss how to run your IT if you are a small business, even without an IT department - practical advice on rethinking your relationship with your IT infrastructure.
