IT Benchmarking

Each year we carry out an IT benchmarking survey to look at how much property organisations are spending on IT, together with further information on technology trends, outsourcing, types of software procurement, and so on.

The objective is to allow survey respondents to easily compare current spending and IT usage against industry peers. Respondents include many of the leading property services firms, fund managers and property companies.

The data you provide will remain confidential and we'll send you a short report including an analysis of the findings against your own data to thank you for taking part.

Our last survey included a brief set of questions covering;
• IT costs
• Level of outsourced services
• What software is used in the business
• How software is procured
• Other IT trends - social media, cloud services, and for the first time, use of tablet computers

Next survey

We are currently planning our next survey. If there are any specific topics you would like us to include please contact Mark Jones.

Previous Surveys

You can read summarised highlights from the 2010 survey here.

All organisations can learn from their peers. If you want to understand how your IT spend and usage compares, take part in our annual Remit IT survey. This is to our knowledge, the only regular review of the way property firms approach their IT support.
