Hans Gerritsen took time out this year to travel through Cambodia by motorcycle.

In February each year, Hans Gerritsen takes time out to travel by motorcycle through remote parts of the world. This year, Cambodia.

In his own words:

We started in Seam Reap which is close to the huge temple complex of Anchor What. 

After 2 days in and around these temples, we drove through the whole of Cambodia in 10 days. 

The road conditions were, let's say, challenging (50% off-road) but the local people are very kind and helpful. 

Driving through the capital Phnom Pen is an adventure on its own. After surviving the hell of Pen, we drove down to the coast and the Vietnamese border and back to Pen. 

We saw all the highlights from a motorbike perspective and I can advise this to everybody, you see, feel and smell a country more intensely than driving in a car or minivan. 

Cambodia is a beautiful holiday country with a beautiful coast line, impressive temples and very kind people. And what is even more important to a Dutchman, relatively cheap.
